What Bayline Freight collects, why, and what we do not do with it.
Privacy Notice
Last updated: August 2026. This notice explains what we collect through this website and what happens to it.
What we collect
- Information you submit through the quote form — name, email, and the shipment details you provide
- Basic server logs kept by our hosting provider, including IP address and pages requested
Why we collect it
Solely to respond to your enquiry and, if you become a client, to arrange and administer your shipments. We do not sell your information, we do not share it with third parties for marketing, and we do not add you to a mailing list because you asked for a quote.
Who we share it with
Only the parties needed to execute your shipment — carriers, customs authorities, terminals and overseas agents — and only the information those parties require. Customs authorities in Canada and the United States require certain shipment data by law.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become shipments are retained for up to 24 months. Shipment records are retained for the period required by Canadian and US customs record-keeping rules, which is currently six years.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required by law to keep it. Email info@baylinefreight.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Cookies
This site sets no tracking or advertising cookies. If we add analytics in future, this notice will be updated first.
Note: this is a reasonable starting notice, not legal advice. Have it reviewed against PIPEDA and any applicable US state privacy law before you rely on it.
